Thought for the week

Our choices are SO important!

The other morning, in quite an unusual way, I had the idea of weave

Psalm1 and Psalm 23 together.

And just look what happened. . . isn’t it super!!

You can see just how good it is to make the right choices. Choosing God, His Word and His ways is never easy . . . but there’s no better choice.

Just look and see for yourself

A weaving together of Psalm 1 with Psalm 23

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked

Blessed is the man whose Shepherd is the Lord - he shall lack nothing

Blessed is the man who doesn’t stand in the way of sinners;

Blessed is the man whose Shepherd makes him lie down in green pastures

Blessed is the man who doesn’t sit in the seat of mockers:

Blessed is the man whose Shepherd leads him beside quite waters

Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the Lord

Blessed is the man whose soul is restored by the Shepherd

Blessed is the man who meditates on the law of the Lord day and night

Blessed is the man who is guided in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake

He is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season

Even when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil

The leaf of this tree does not wither

Because you are with me

Whatever he does prospers.

Your rod and staff comfort me

Not so the wicked! They are like the chaff that the wind blows away.

You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,

You anoint my head with oil

Sinners will not stand in the assembly of the righteous.

My cup overflows

The Lord watches over the way of the righteous

Surely goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life

But the way of the wicked will perish

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever

Dear reader, to follow Christ is the highest choice anyone can ever make!

If I can be of help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us:

Blessed is the man (woman) who chooses God and His ways!!
